Konsultahang Kabataan inilunsad sa Cagayan Valley

SANTIAGO CITY — Inilunsad ang Konsultahang Kabataan, sa panguguna ng Kabataan Partylist (KPL), sa Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU), Bayombong at Isabela State University (ISU), Echague noong Huwebes, ika-22 ng Pebrero.

Youthspeak: Sa pagbubukas ng klase

Noong nakaraang taon, napagtagumpayan ng mga kabataan ang pagharap sa mga problema ukol sa edukasyon. Ngunit hindi ito nangangahulugan na tapos na ang laban ng kabataan para sa pambansang demokrasya at pagpawi sa krisis sa sistema ng edukasyon. Napagtagumpayan man natin ang laban sa libreng edukasyon, nariyan pa rin ang budget cut sa mga eskwelahan at patuloy na mga paglabag sa demokratikong karapatan ng mga kabataan sa loob at labas ng paaralan. Ang ganitong sitwasyon ngayon ay nagpapakita lamang na kinakailangan parin nating ipagpatuloy ang pakikibaka para sa tunay na pagbabago.

Advocates launch Rise for Education and Just Peace network

ECHAGUE, Isabela — More than a hundred delegates joined the Rise for Education and Just Peace Summit at the De Venecia Hall, Isabela State University – Echague on November 17, 2017. By now, most universities and colleges shifted from the old academic calendar year, (June to March) to the new academic calendar year (August to May) due to the ASEAN integration within education. The calendar shift was adjusted to sync with the South East Asian nation’s academic school calendar ideally making it easier for students to enroll in schools in South East Asia. However, most students do not have the luxury to go study abroad making the academic calendar shift elitist, namely for those who can afford it.

TUGUEGARAO CITY — Binawi ng administrasyon ng Cagayan State University ang ipinatupad na polisiyang kailangang magpasa ng drug test result ang mga estudyante para sila ay makapag-enrol. Dahil sa ipinatupad na polisiya, malaking bilang ng estudyante ang hindi pa naka-enrol sa kasalukuyan. Ang Mandatory Drug Test Policy ay umani ng batikos mula sa mga estudyante at magulang dahil sa kawalang impormasyon at konsultasyon sa bagong polisiya para sa enrolment.
