Postings on NL events

Another possible use for this blog is for Nordis readers and supporters to post advisories, proposals and discussion points about recent, current and forthcoming events of public significance here in Northern Luzon. For example, this month of October is both Peasant Month and Tribal Filipino Month — both very significant concerns for NL people. Peasant and IP organizations could post advisories and brief statements about their forthcoming activities and calendar dates, and request media coverage. We could invite and constantly remind our media friends (from all over, including NCR-based media) to constantly check this blog for the said events.

The Subic Rape Case is the Rape of the Philippine citizenry personified.
All the flashy arraignments purportedly to give justice to where it is due holds no water, unless the VFA issue is not laid to rest.
The case is simple. There was an allegation of rape. Medico-legal reports corroborate. Based on our prevailing laws, therefore, all suspects must be apprehended and be sent to jail, regardless of possible degree of involvement and conspiracy.
For all her rantings and empty speeches, it is a wonder Mrs. Arroyo is mum about this but would rather work her way underneath the cloth of power to sway justice to prevent smearing her reputation in the eyes of her US supporters.
Well, for all its worth. At least the rape victim didn’t backdown. May justice prevail. and may God bless this country.
Do you have the ullalim pictures?
