BAGUIO CITY — Two unidentified men, armed with kitchen knives, robbed a nurse and threatened to hurt her and her family.
Ana (not her real name), a registered nurse, as quoted in the police blotter, said that early in the morning of February 14, at Amsing, Pacdal while on her way home walking through the stair-path she was violently confronted by the perpetrators.
One held her by the elbow and poked his knife at her face while the other directed a second knife at her abdomen as they demanded, “Amina ang cash mo! Pati na ang cellphone mo!” (give us your cash and cellphone!)
She tried to resist but then the perpetrators threatened and alarmingly mentioned her family.
As stated in the report the perpetrators, as they threatened her, also said, “Alam naming tatlo ang anak mo,” Babalikan ka namin, kung hindi pa rin kayo titigil.”
She was overcome by fear and shock that the perpetrators knew she had three children and doubly alarmed that she didn’t comprehend what they meant by, “kung hindi kayo pa rin titigil.”
Ana, a clinical instructor supervising nursing students on their hospital duty on the midnight shift had just come from hospital duty that day of the robbery. She narrated that earlier that day, she had received a barrage of text messages which included: “Bantayan mo ang pamilya mo kung ayaw mong masaktan sila. Alagaan mo sila baka may mangyari sa kanila,” the report stated.
The cell phone number was identified and the case is allegedly being investigated by Police Station 3 of this city # Northern Dispatch
