BAGUIO CITY (Oct. 23) — Police has identified two male bodies found dumped in a 15-meter bushy ravine along the roadside in barangay Outlook Drive here Monday morning.
Station 3 commander Chief Inspector Elmer Cereno whose men first investigated the alleged salvaging victims named the bodies as 20-year-old Ganilon Wilfredo Balbin Dup-et, a native of Sabangan town, Mountain Province and 19-year-old Gardo Soting, a resident of Sabkil, Itogon, Benguet.
Cereno said Dup-et who is the one with the Sigue-Sigue Command (SSC) gang tattoo was residing in Brookside barangay here. He suffered at least nine wounds on his back from an ice pick.
Sigue Sigue Commando (SSC) is a jail gang whose members are often involved in street crimes like snatching, robbery and the like.
Soting bore multiple knife wounds also on his back.
Both were obviously choked to death, according to police.
Investigators claimed that the duo were identified by their families on Tuesday morning who headed to the funeral parlor after news broke out about the salvaged victims here. Police said they are still verifying if the duo had previous records with the police.
Dup-et and Soting, believed to have been killed somewhere else, were found about 200 meters away from the Presidential Mansion House. A startled resident walking along the road noticed the two pairs of feet of the duo almost lying on top of each other from a bushy and grassy ravine by the roadside on Monday morning.

At least a week before that, another male victim of supposed salvaging later on named as Mountain Province native Mike Batnag was found along a grassy portion in the plush subdivision Suello Village. Before that, five males including Abaham and Batnag were supposedly “picked up” by armed men in Baguio City.
